No Virus in an Iris
This is another in my artistic responses to the quarantines in association with the Covid-19 virus. Since I am out of work from my restaurant job, I am spending more time in the studio and in the garden. As I began this artwork, I realized the pose was familiar to me. As I realized it was similar to Andrew Wyeth's Christina's World, I figured I would underscore the pose with the pink t-shirt. This piece is create using Shiva Paintstiks on 140lb watercolor paper.
