Kingman High Grade Spiderweb Turquoise Bracelet

This bracelet was fabricated with three separate pieces of sterling silver. As can be seen in the first photo, the two top pieces have a texture that was created by putting the silver through a rolling mill with sandpaper next to it. The piece surrounding the turquoise was textured with 120 grit while the outer piece was textured with 80 grit. Ric then painstakingly hand stamped the silver with eight different punches. The real trick here was to make it all look random which, as Ric says, is way easier said than done. A scene on one side of the cuff depicts a thunderstorm. The other side depicts a comet streaking through space and some random things. Once the piece is stamped to Ric’s liking, it’s time to cut the centerpiece of silver so the bezels will be recessed when the final soldering takes place, which is getting nearer. The centerpiece was fit into the outer piece and the two pieces were soldered to the bottom piece. This was then formed into a cuff and the bezels were fit and soldered in. In the case of this particular bracelet, a lightning bolt was cut from 14K gold and soldered in the appropriate spot. Lastly, the thing was oxidized, buffed and the stones were set.
It should be mentioned that this is some of the finest turquoise retrieved from the Kingman, Arizona mine. It is called Kingman High Grade Spiderweb Turquoise.
This is a man's medium or a woman's large and is, of course, is one-of-a-kind.
