Dragonfly Bolo Tie

A sterling silver dragonfly is mounted on corrugated copper. It has CZ eyes. The lovely eight strand leather cord is from Taos Leather and is braided flat where it hangs around one's neck. The dragonfly body is 120 mm/4.75 inches long and the wingspan is 145 mm/5.75 inches wide. Ric tells me that there is a dragonfly with these dimensions that cruises around parts of Australia. All connections between the copper and sterling silver have been riveted. Ric chose to rivet the dissimilar metals together so as not to compromise the look and hardness of the copper. Measured lying on a table, the dragonfly is about 2.75 inches tall.
