I started painting early as 1969 with oils as a portrait and working in clay sculpture. I have been in many juried Fine Art, International shows with awards throughout New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Arizona and California. Mostly self-taught, but also have taken courses with Columbus Art and Design of Ohio and Foothill College in California and many workshops. I enjoy the history and stories of everyday life in the Southwest with the colorful cultures of Native American and Mexican people.
