I am passionate about designing pieces for individuals in searching for their personal style, expression and an appreciation for unique handcrafted contemporary jewelry. My designs are are modern, wearable and distinctive, combining traditional and innovative techniques and materials with bold shapes, textures and color. My ever-evolving eclectic influences are inspired by architectural and geometric shapes to rustic and organic forms. Natural stones and pearls complete these one-of-a-kind designs for the discerning individual as a reflection of their personal style through their accessories. My photography has led to my creation of a series of prints created from the combination of deconstructed photos, vector and hand drawn elements; creating a unique visual reinterpretation of the original landscapes and memories, helping us visualize different perspectives of the everyday things around us. Originally a fine arts and crafts instructor, I continue to instruct and inspire students in Charleston, where I now reside. My work has been exhibited in juried shows, and has been on display in various galleries in the US.
