Mark Pearson
My name is Mark Pearson, I was born in Minneapolis, MN and have lived here for most of my life. . I attended MPLS. College Of Art and Design from 1968-1973. I have been intensely working on developing my portfolio. I have mostly worked with oil pastels. My work is focused on the people in my life and is a reflection of my everyday experiences. When completing a piece, I am frequently brought back to what I felt in that moment. I initially have a goal of what a piece should look like but as with anything, there are changes that happen in the process. As long as I keep the memory of that moment alive, the piece will turn out better than I ever expected. Reinvigorating my passion in art has given me a purpose and has allowed me to appreciate the importance and meaning of everyday moments. I hope that my work inspires the viewer to do the same.
