I am a Colorado native with a background in Design, & Technical Theatre and a Master’s of Landscape Architecture. Self-taught in this medium, Bergquist’s expressive, dimensional 2-D art allows her to be sculptural and create a sense of place. She constructs fine details, making the art experience real for the viewer by providing an insight into the species and its environment. Creating expressive indigenous woman portraits as well as animals and birds. I don't do NFT's “I enjoy creating multi-media paintings of figural subjects and abstracted landscapes. Currently I’m “painting” with colorful and textural man-made and machine-made paper from Thailand, India and Japan. This art medium limits my palette and challenges my skills to create depth, texture, light and shadow.”
