Paul Bruno
In June of 1966 I began the business chapter of my life.  It is eye opening when I realize that this chapter has lasted 54 years and counting!  During this time period, I worked for 3 corporations and founded a consulting firm,  REFocus, Inc in 1994.  At Refocus we had a purpose statement, “Helping people and organizations find  and walk new paths to success.”  When I “opened the doors” to Textures’ Palette, I realized that I was actually doing what I had been advising my clients to do for the last 26 years.  By founding Textures’ Palette, I was finding and walking on that new path in a new chapter of my life. Beginning in 2016, there has been a subtle and gradual transition from a world of solving business problems to a new world of capturing and sharing a moment in time.  The sources of inspiration for my "moments" come from photographs and life long memories. My medium is oil  on canvas and I like to use bright colors.  I am generous with my paint and the layered textures create shadows and site lines that result in a 3rd. dimensional effect.  I seek to draw my viewers into the scene. When you view one of my paintings I hope that you experience an uplifting connection to the scene... that you experience a re-awakening of a life's moment... that you feel a moment of peace and reflection and joy       At this point in my life, I hold an opportunity to create a painting as a gift to me and hopefully...to you.  Thank you for visiting my website.  I hope that you enjoy  your walk through the “gallery.”  And, as our collection grows, that you will  be compelled to visit us again.
