Clinton Helms is a contemporary realistic artist/illustrator whom work has appeared in both solo and group exhibitions throughout Virginia and the United States. Clinton has a B.F.A Degree in Communication Arts/Illustration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a M.F.A. Degree in Illustration and Fine Arts from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. He is currently a member of the Art Center in Orange, VA., and the United States Air Force Arts Program at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. For the past ten years; Clinton has logged many studio hours focusing on building a body of work in both acrylics and oil paintings of landscape, portraits, still-life’s, other subjects of interest, and a large number of paintings from assignments documenting training exercises for the United States Air Force.
