Hi There, This is Sandra in San Diego, California, USA. Here the brightness and warmth of the climate produce a vast array of plants, people, animals, and birds, which all influence my art. Life is varied, busy and good. The photo of poppies, above, was taken in my local neighborhood, as are many local references for my paintings. Art has been a hobby of mine since I was young. In later life, this has gradually flourished into the creation of varied imaginative abstract work, and realistic paintings. I love color, form, movement, and a clean edge! All my work is hand created, using Oil on Canvas or Watercolor on Arches paper. Charcoal +Acrylics is a recent style development. Digital generation is not one of my methods.
