I have served 43 years in prison of an 80 year sentence for a first time offence of armed robbery, in which no one was harmed. In August 1986 me and another inmate, Danny Weeks (who was placed on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List) escaped from Louisiana's notoriously brutal Angola State Penitentiary, which resulted in the largest manhunt in U.S. History. I am actively seeking a producer for the full-length satire movie script about the escape. Google: James Colvin/Danny Weeks/Angola. I am also seeking an attorney to represent an "Actual Innocence" claim in federal court. I was NEVER found guilty of the crime. Armed robbery was a specific intent crime where intoxication was the defense. The court instructed the jury that "intent could be inferred from the circumstances", which relieved the state of its burden to prove intent beyond a reasonable doubt, and thereby handed the jury a directed verdict.
