Brigid is a retired veterinarian and public health nurse based in Mississippi, who spent her professional career safeguarding both humans and animals. She has always had a passion for drawing, and in 2006 she embarked on a dedicated journey to refine her skills. Her dedication to the craft culminated in one of her cat illustrations being published as cover art for the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association. In addition to pencil drawing, Brigid explores mixed media, working with pen, marker, and watercolor to create a diverse range of artwork. She shares her creations online, where her unique style has attracted numerous buyers and art enthusiasts. In her free time, she works as a massage therapist, teaches tai chi, and actively supports animal disaster response efforts, helping train teams across the country to assist animals and humans during emergencies.
