Valerie Toliver started teaching watercolor classes in 2004. Before 2004, she was a designer on many subjects: architecture drafting, printed circuit design, technical writing, help system authoring, and creating curriculum for drafting and design classes. Her unique style of teaching evolved from these past experiences in design and include projects she wrote that include step-by-step instructions.
Her classes are small so that she has the time to give you the information you need at your level. She will coach you to improve painting techniques that will give your paintings pop, depth and vivid color. Her demonstrations are dynamic and interesting, including information that helps you understand the physics of water... so that your work is not overworked. If you take her class, you will not be disappointed!
