Born in 1947, I began studying at the Art Students League of New York as a 15-year-old, in Ernest Fiene's Adult Painting Class. My first exhibition in New York City was at the Advance Gallery on w.57th street, in 1965.
I went to Holland in 1968 to gain first-hand knowledge of the De Stijl movement, founded by Piet Mondrian.
Returning to America, I was represented by Avanti Galleries on E. 72nd St. from 1970 - 1974. In 1975 I gave up my w.4th street Studio and relocated to Toms River, NJ. I have lived in a renovated barn, first built in 1836, with my Wife, Mary Barnet, eldest daughter of Will Barnet who was one of my instructors at the League. Mary is a poet with 7 volumes of her poetry published.
Currently, I have created over 1000 works of digital art, which is the future.
