Roberta Millman-Ide
Roberta Millman -Ide received her BFA in Advertising Design (after completing a juried portfolio educational program) from California State University, Long Beach (along with her earning an additional degree in Business Marketing). Post-graduation, she continued her art education at the Art Center of Pasadena (California). Upon graduating from CSULB she worked as an Art Director for two well-known Advertising Agencies (in Southern California) before moving to the east coast and starting her own design company. And, although she still designs some artists’ websites, promotional materials and gives workshops on marketing yourself as an artist & Corporate Team Building through Art, Roberta’s primary focus has been on creating and exhibiting her artwork (on a regular basis) since 2006. She has exhibited (and sold) her artwork throughout the United States; and, while attending an Artist-in-Residency in Israel (May-2012), she exhibited and sold one of her woven art pieces. Also, while in Israel, Roberta (along with three other artists) collaborated in creating a large sculpture (of two dancing figures), titled “Together”. This piece is now on permanent display on the grounds of the Heritage Museum in Nahariya, Israel. Roberta’s artwork can also be found in numerous private collections throughout the world. Since October - 2017, Roberta has served as PRESIDENT of the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Women Artists, connecting NAWAFL members across the State of Florida (as well as throughout the United States)...furthering the NAWA Mission Statement to bring talented female artists (who must first be juried in to the NAWA organization prior to joining NAWAFL) to Exhibit their Work in Florida's many Art Venues.
