Cindy Miller

Balance no. 1

The artwork features three abstract, elongated humanoid figures that resemble bandaged or wrapped forms, similar to mummies. Each figure has a single, large eye and is wrapped in horizontal strips that create a textured surface. Two of the figures stand on large, spherical blue objects that have patches of rust-like or earthy tones, resembling worn globes. The third figure is elevated above a smaller blue sphere, connected by a thin, stitched thread-like line extending downward. The background consists of a textured, muted beige canvas, with a subtly undulating green landscape beneath the spheres. The overall composition combines surreal and symbolic elements, evoking themes of balance, isolation, and perhaps connection. Frame in black 1 inch wide frame.
