Down the Hill, September
I have painted and drawn this view down a hill many times, this time in September. The sea is at the bottom of the hill, and I am drawn to it as is the figure in the painting. Foliage and rooftops add to the composition. The light is coming from the east, the time is morning and I imagine the person is walking to work. What a nice way to start the day.
