The words I gave Blondie nod to equality of the sexes, feminism, and the retraining of the sexist American male. Said male might even make blondie a sandwich before preparing his own. And Blondie might even have gone natural and stopped dying her hair just because Dagwood wanted a blonde. A bright and powerful image. It looks great hanging in my kitchen at the moment.
