Beyond Boundaries

This is actually quite a seminal painting because it contains elements that I would use in many later pieces. The palette features calming greys with a touch of lively accent colors. I applied the paint with a palette knife, which also was used to create the gridlines. The bold line, squirted directly from a paint bottle, presaged gestural lines in many of my other pieces. This piece is canvas board, fully sealed and UV protected. It's set in a black floating frame with hanging hardware, which is included in the price.
