This triptych is saturated in crimson because it pays homage to leaders who possess integrity, wisdom, and discernment. There are five dog soldier warriors but three warriors stand in a prominent spot. These warriors belong to the same warrior society that carry the red pipe stone pipe bag. They dawn crimson robes which signifies their position and they are respected because they serve the tribe by practicing and holding on to special knowledge and traditions.
