The Electric Koi of Kauai

These Koi were just outside our restaurant seats swimming around and the nibbling on something on the bottom of the pond and would then go squirming off. Sometimes they would even jump out of the water after nibbling. I asked the waiter what they were eating. He told me it was a pipe with the low voltage wiring for the lighting. They were actually getting a buzz. I asked if they all do it. He said they do now. At first it was just one then a couple were doing it. And now they all waited in a group and took turns getting buzzed.
