When I first came to this beach, I came by boat because there was no road! Years later I kept my kayak here, tied to a Kiawe tree. I'd come down and paddle and watch them building those condos across the bay. In those days the beach by the fish pond was filled with palm trees! A favorite spot in all its incarnations.
