First Light

First Light is part of the "Origins of Creation” series where the beginnings of creation are explored through the use of rich colors and deep textures in the vast expanse of a newly created universe. It is inspired by the book of Genesis where God said "Let there be Light" and there was light over the darkness and the void. Deep indigo and violet give way to luminous whites and golds, with deeply textured surfaces creating a depth that can be both felt and touched.
