Rhinebeck NY hillside garden

Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas, signed in the lower right corner. Hanging hardware is included.

Living in Rhinebeck, NY, I am constantly surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley. This landscape was inspired by a hillside garden that my wife and I walk by several times a week. The centerpiece of this scene is the "Kill," a peaceful stream that winds through the local terrain, reflecting the ever-changing light of the seasons.

In this landscape painting, I wanted to capture the lush, vibrant energy of the garden as it flows down toward the water. I used my geometric and cubist-inspired style to organize the natural chaos of the hillside—using bold colors and structured forms to define the trees, rocks, and floral clusters. For me, this piece is a celebration of my daily life in Rhinebeck and the quiet, structural beauty found in our local Hudson Valley gardens.
This original acrylic painting is currently available for sale through my Artspan gallery"
