Equilibrium

Art can show you how time is marked through emotion and we often view our lives from an external view and ignore or push aside our emotional state. Here I’ve used both colors and shapes to bring a visual contrast and to represent the joy art brings to me even when my mind is in a dark place. Much of our world is understood through contrasts. Without both the light and the dark times we wouldn’t find our equilibrium. The tree is teetering on the cliff persisting through hardship, but is it there or just a memory?
