Tree of Character

There was the Tree of Life, and the Tree of Knowledge. If there was a Tree of Character, what would it look like? I think it would look a lot like this one that I found along a trail at Point Reyes National Seashore. So much texture and color, moss and lichen, holes and hollows, with branches full of light. Colored pencil on Stonehenge paper. Award of Merit, California Fine Art, Sacramento, CA, 2012. Exhibited in Coastal Arts League Annual Juried Exhibition, Half Moon Bay, CA, 2012. Dixon Ticonderoga Award for Exceptional Merit, CPSA International Exhibition, 2013. Included in "CP Treasures, Vol. II" from Ann Kullberg, 2013.
