Respecting Heaven and Earth

Respecting "Heaven and Earth", still life painting was an inspiration from the Native Americans belief of a connection with birds and their feathers. Feathers symbolize many things in the Native American culture including strength, power, honor, wisdom, freedom and many more things. It is believed that as birds fly high into the sky their connection to Heaven and Earth and the Creator is very powerful. So the thought and inspiration for this painting. The study for this painting is "Honoring Heaven and Earth" and was shown and sold at the Wyoming Artists' Association in May, 2016.
