Orchid
My inspiration for this painting was an orchid and a fence in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
This work was done on 26.5-inch-high x 20.5-inch-wide acid-free age-resistant heavy painting paper using soft pastels where I used large areas of colors to reflect a minimal and abstract approach to the subject matter.
The painting is signed in the lower right corner and is dated on the back.
The work is behind anti-reflection glass in a 28.5-inch-high x 22.5-inch-wide x 1-inch-deep gray wood frame.
