Moment of Grace
The creek runs through the canyon open space next to where I live, so I've taken walks through the area for many years. This painting was inspired by an early Spring evening - a sacred moment when the setting sun kissed the overhanging trees. The original is done in pastels. I love bold and brilliant colors, and I particularly enjoy the way purples, blue and magenta play off of various shades of green.
