Our spring landscapes are filled with soft blues and greens. Although Chamisa blossoms turn deep yellow in the fall, they are a delicate soft yellow-green in the Spring, which strikes a beautiful harmony with the blue green foliage. I started this piece working outside at one of our dog parks. Yep - this is what our dog parks are like in Santa Fe!
