Shield Maidens of Strength
Even though there are two images, I put this painting in the Power of One Series. Continuation of my Galax Gemini Series. I added symbols of indigenous peoples and one figure wears the Thunderbird on her headpiece- it is the bird of happiness.
In my early paintings, I painted figures called the Galax Gemini. My sign is Gemini and ever since I was a child, loved science fiction and looking up at the stars. The Galax Gemini are free-floating beings originally from another world but inspired by way of Easter Island, Mayan, Olmec and indigenous cultures.
They are shield maidens of strength.
