Hand of Fate

Some artworks immediately evoke the dreamworld.

This piece does that for me.

I see the hand of Fate emerging from the river of Time. Some sort of energy flows from beyond, meandering from an unknown source into the river, strengthening the current.

The mountaintops are of the future—half natural, half human made. My attention is immediately arrested, identifying with the hand as it gently nudges lives and times this way and that.

When i need to remember the enchantment of the world, this is the piece i go to.

Acrylic, oil, rice paper and ink on panel, unframed.
