'Springtime in Japan at the Bellagio' is a painting of a small wooden bridge over water surrounded by flowers in the 'Springtime in Japan' exhibit put on by the Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"With over 82,000 flowers surrounding my wife and I in the Bellagio Conservatory, we walked through the exhibit to the far wall of the massive Conservatory to look back from behind one of the bridges, a vantage point unknown to many attendees..."
The work explores a viewpoint of reflection – both literally and figuratively – a reflection of nature, to remind us there is no fake nature. Artificial displays of nature are in fact the nature we have created.
