Mindless Bombardment II

An abstract, wall hanging sculpture created from discarded plastic eyeglass lenses, recovered deer netting, industrial waste wool, wool roving, expired NCDOT road maps, and kudzu vines. Processes include wet felt making, collage, and needle felting. It is a piece accompanying Kim Keelor's large scale climate installation, Cat. 6? Possibilities and Consequences. It represents the ongoing actions by industry, government and humankind that are compromising the health of nature, wildlife and people by driving a global climate crisis.
