Near Conques #1
My painting of a view near Conques in the Lot Valley of the Aveyron is sold.
At two separate times during the 1990s, I lived in the southern part of France and painted its landscapes. Since then, I return every few years to absorb the beauty of the land and paint more of its countryside.
This work was done with oil bar and oil pastels on 22-inch-high x 30-inch-wide acid-free age-resistant heavy painting paper (1998).
The painting is signed in the lower right corner and is dated on the back.
