This painting was for a competition titled Rockwell Reimagined. Our challenge was to use a Norman Rockwell illustration from The Saturday Evening Post covers and reimagine it in today's world. I chose to reimagine Rosie the Riveter as a modern day orthopedic surgeon in Sally The Surgeon.
