Latrice is walking through her neighborhood, alone with her thoughts, hopes and dreams. While silently reviewing a grocery list in her head, she remembers she has to call her Mother at 3:00. Mom always needs to know I'm okay. This pleases her. She stops for a minute to say hello to a neighbor, Ms. Jean. Ms Jean has 3 foster kids and 2 of her own.....They exchange pleasantries , and Latrice continues down the long block,noticing all the shapes and colors a crowded city street can bring.
