Catching a Fish Logo in an Imaginary Lake (2016)
Part of the Abstracted Pop series, the final painting deviated from the study. A fighter jet at the top of the painting was omitted. The lock, bird, and woman remained. In thinking about the painting, I looked down and noticed a fish logo on my shirt. Why not bring a logo to life? The painting almost painted itself to the finish. The sides of the work are painted black. Hanging hardware is included.
