Landscape at Nuits-Saint-Georges #2
At two different times during the 1990s, I lived in the southern part of France and painted its landscapes. Since then, I return every few years to absorb the beauty of the land and become inspired to paint more.
This oil painting on canvas is of landscape at Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Cote-d'Or wine-producing area of Burgundy (Bourgogne) in France.
I did this oil painting on an 18-inch-high x 24-inch-wide canvas on an 0.75-inch-deep stretcher frame. The edges of the canvas also are painted.
The painting has a gold border on the bottom, is ready for hanging, and is signed and dated by me on the back of the canvas (2003).
