The tall elegance of a Birch Trees along a reflective river on an Autumn sunny morning is always an awe inspiring site. The colors on this day are a perfect palette of warm red, gold and green and the Birch trunks glow in the sun. I combine the heavy texture of the palette knife with transparent luminous glazes of paint with the brush, for a greater feeling of depth than can be achieved with a knife alone, in order to send the viewer on this amazing visual journey.
