Sunflowers

The bright gold sunflowers inspire me to paint them bursting from their vase in an abundance of dazzling color, shimmering in the light. Palette knife painting directly on the canvas, in combination with a brush, because combining heavy texture that only a knife can create with applied brush transparent paint gives my work a greater feeling of depth and creates an amazing visual effect. Painted on 3/4'' thick gallery wrapped canvas using highest quality artist oils. Painting continues around the sides making framing optional. This painting would make a great addition to any art collection.
