Loss or Gain

This painting is inspired by the stock market. It goes up and down moment by moment creating loss or gain. The red trend line at lower left of the painting represents this. The painting has a penny and a dime imbedded in a thick gesso layer which has sand in the gesso. The backround is a light grey and the central mass which could be interpreted many different ways. The sides are finished in grey and hanging hardware is included. Loss or Gain is signed on the reverse.
