JEAN-MICHEL RENDU: Discovering Natural Santa Fe
2018-12-27: The Santa Fe River in a snow ferry-land
An overnight snowstorm produced this beautiful winter scene along the Santa Fe Rive. This area is in a Santa Fe River Park, near the intersection of Camino Escondido and East Alameda Street. The red sediments filling the Santa Fe River, and the dark trunks of the surrounding tree, offer a strong contrast against the snow-covered riverbanks and tree branches. Shortly after this picture was taken a light breeze and slightly warmer temperatures contributed to make the snow fall from the trees, ending this beautiful scenery.
