2019-08-06-Backwall of San Miguel Chapel, Santa Fe

The San Miguel Chapel is said to be the oldest church in the continental United States. A Spanish Colonial mission-church, it was built between 1610 and 1626 along the Santa Fe Trail. The heavy walls are made of adobe and require frequent maintenance to mitigate the effect of the weather on this earth structure.
