There is a place in Redwood Regional Park called Serpentine Prairie. In April, if there's been good rain, it's a grand place to view the wildflowers - especially California poppies. When I visited in the early morning, there were bright new flowers with the new green grass! So much renewal so close to the city gives me hope.
