Fall is my favorite season and living in Arizona I can only dream of the beauty and stillness of nature this time of the year.
There are many layers applied in this work- some with acrylics, others with transparent acrylic skins with India ink drawings. At the time I was painting this piece I was very interested in finding ways to achieve encaustic look.
