Circles

18 x 24 inches, acrylics mixed media on cradled wooden board
Part of the " Textures" series.
This is one of the first works I have made with the use of acrylic skins, a medium I often work with since. I'm always attracted to circular shapes and this tendency in my art manifests itself here. This painting is allegorical and can be interpreted in a variety of ways, but for me it's about birds, nests, procreating and beauty and power of the egg.
