Renewed Hope
This mixed media piece is based on the geometric eight-pointed star and comprised of jasmine flower bouquets, or machmoum. The outer bouquets are portrayed in black, as they are sometimes crafted from fragrant woods and silver. These represent the darkness that is felt from world events and our attachment to things. The contrasting center bouquet beams of a fresh picked white representing the hope and purity that is in each of us if we choose to see it.
