Peppermint Zinnia

Vivid pink stripes dance across delicate petals, giving this sweet little flower the look of a peppermint stick—absolutely adorable! Painted with high-quality watercolor paints on premium watercolor paper, this piece captures the cheerful charm of a bloom that’s small in size but big on personality.

Though the actual flower measures just two inches in diameter, the Peppermint Zinnia adds a burst of color and joy to any garden edge. Bushy and full, the plant fills out beautifully and is known as one of the easiest flowers to grow—rewarding gardeners with abundant, eye-catching blooms.

Amazingly, this zinnia has been around since the 1500s, originally growing wild in Mexico. It eventually made its way to Germany, where it became a beloved garden staple. No two blooms are ever the same—some are boldly striped, others softly speckled—each one a unique work of nature’s art.

My Peppermint Zinnia Story:

I used to pass this darling flower on my neighborhood walks, and every time, it made me smile. Looking at it now—it still does! There’s just something about the joyful sweetness of this tiny bloom that lifts the spirit. A whole lot of happiness in a petite package.
