This is the second painting in a series I call “Releasing Ancestral Pain”, my aim is to find ways to heal a difficult primary relationship by meditating before and after painting and of course, painting meditatively.
Each session and each painting helps me uncover new insights and engage in healing practices that bring about more clarity, releasing unhelpful stories, shift perspectives, expand feelings of love and appreciation for each individual, relate harmoniously and thrive optimally.
The first painting identified a dark mass representing the pain that accumulates in our vibrational energy. Sometimes it is obvious, like body weight, at other times shows as inability to love and appreciate oneself, experiencing money struggles, clutter that shows up in our homes, or our place of work, and general densities that negatively affects all that we tackle in life. In Piercing Densities, I was able to see the changes I was resisting and allow the healing energies trying to pierce the dark form.
In this painting I call Still There, there is still a mass, yet it is less dense, perhaps because I was able to shift perspectives, release body weight and heal blockages in a heart artery. And maybe because I have taken self-healing and self-loving more seriously, I feel emotionally happier and lighter.
Indeed, I feel more optimistic about healing my decades long pain.
